That is what I ended up with after trying out a couple of ebay stubbies.

2007 BMW Z4  [0.00]
Acquired a bilstein front suspension with springs. New center console and rear console got installed this week. The car's previous owner let the car sit in the sun for ~2 years before selling it. Lots of brittle plastic is the result so am replacing bit by bit as they break. Replaced the front tie rods, front bumper supports, and valve cover gasket. Broke the rear oil breather hose in that process so that's on order as well.

As much as I love to drive the Z4 3.0i, thinking the next course of action will be to rebuild and clean up what I have and sell that then buy the Z4 3.0si from around the same year (~07-08). Then put the bilsteins on that. Been reading a bunch on here (thanks y'all!) and that HP matched with the current driving experience will be fantastically fun.

Gotcha - I'd love to go up a size in the rear but I already rub (just a bit).

What size/offset & tire size? If I was staggered I would love to find a way to fit 285's but for 9.5 wheels 265's are the perfect width.

Nice…. If only there was easy way to wire up heated seat elements to a bucket seat (working off factory buttons)…

So after several months of owning my 2004 BWM Z4 I did the following:
Painted brake calipers red
Installed new 18" wheels and tires from Tire Rack
Added chrome exhaust tips purchased from a forum member
Added FM transmitter for my iphone to play music
Purchased plugs from Lowes, painted with factory paint and clear coated to use them cover license plate holders holes in front bumper
Added black front grille
Enjoy

CBPIP: That is a beauty. Too bad MD requires a front plate. Even though Ohio required two plates, I and most other SC400 and SC430 owners never put one on the front of their cars and, over 20 years, I never had an issue. That has now become moot as Ohio just joined about 20 other states in requiring only a rear plate, much to my delight.
You say you have a front plate relocation kit installed, but it looks from your photo like the plate is in the only spot available which would not block air flow. Where would the plate to without the relocation kit?
