That is good amount of time to own a car. Looks like you did some mods and took care of the Z.
And you have a very nice looking M Roadster. |

Thirteen yrs is a long time to own a sports car. Tell us your impressions of the difference in handling, power, braking, etc between the "Z"s.

Now I have some play money for suspension and rod bearings on the Z4M. I'm debating between KW V3 or PSS10. I will always miss her though as she was my first. |

Go with KW, I've had both. PSS10 is great, but not for that price. I highly recommend Ground Control Suspension kits, had that too and they were VERY good. =) |

I thought I'd never get rid of the 350z but then came along a Z4 intended for my wife, I caught the bug and traded it in for a Z4M. My 350z was thoroughly massaged suspension wise so it handled like a champion. The 350 has more of a muscle car feel and completely bare bones with all expenses spared. But it was purpose built and served its purpose well. It stepped out and corrected it self progressively and predictably. Breaking was horrible. And the VQ engine note is iconic and rasp free! The Z4M is another animal. Faster, lighter, higher strung and less predictable in loss of traction scenarios. But it does it this with absolute refinement and absolute focus around the driver. You don't have to input as much but you have to pay more attention if that makes sense. It's so smooth you don't realize how fast your going. Breaking is heavenly but what else do you expect from csl breaks on a 3,000 lbs car. And it's a roadster! |

Believe it or not Ground control is pretty comfortable, you also choose your own spring rates. I had 600/660 with race mounts and it was totally fine even in a bucket seat on the streets. You can build a street kit instead of race with them and it will be perfect, with slighly softer springs if you like. =) |

I attribute my fondness for the E86 to my original infatuation with the 240Z as a kid. At age 20, I bought my boss's 4-year-old 240Z, and I LOVED that thing. Later owned a '78 280Z, and much later, a '93 300ZX. If anyone was predisposed to love the 350Z when it came along years later, it was me. But when I test drove one in 2004, it just fell flat for me. 2 years later, the Z4MC came along, and I knew I'd found "my" modern Z car.

Turner and ECS have the PSS10 on sale right now for $2,000. Still not worth it? Another $600 for the KW is not gonna break my bank. |

Definitely worth paying a bit more for the KW bro. By the way THmotorsports has it cheaper then ECS (you pay more for the $200 gift card...retarded), it's $2,560 at THM and I can get you a code off my laptop for 3% off so it will be $2,483. Cheers

How much camber can I get out of the KW? I know they come with front strut mounts and the PSS10 do not. I was gonna go with vorshlag camber plate/spring perch combo if I got the PSS10 which would put me right around 2.5k. If I have to get camber plates and/or modify the KW that puts it around 3k and I feel that's a bit much for a street car that already handles pretty well from the factory. Already have rouge RSMs waiting in a box. |

The discount code is threeoffthm2temp, weirdly it didn't give the whole 3% off, only $40 off $1,918.98 is the total. Still cheaper by $65 though hahaha. Last edited by Z4M_Coupe; 12-20-2018 at 02:38 PM.. |
