Need help on spal fan!

Hey guys
Just installed me spal fan and I spliced the oem fan connector with the spal wire. Red on red, black on black.

The fan works. The problem is when I connect both connectors, the fan starts spinning even with the car off.

I know some people who uses the spal fan to work like oem fan, so I'm hoping someone can help
