Need new rear tires - Z4MR

I ended up with a flat with one of my rear tires for my '06 Z4MR while on a road trip. Had to get towed and put a cheap temp tire on it just to get home. Now that I am back home, I need to get a new set of rears. I currently have Continental ContiSportContact 255/40 R18's on stock wheels.

Looking for recommendations on some comfortable riding tires that will handle some spirited driving on the mountain twisties. I don't do any racing. Needs to handle wet roads, but she stays garaged in the winter.

I'd recommend these. Should be perfect for spirited drives plus wet.

Thanks, those do seem like a popular choice. I ordered a pair.

I’ve run these on a few cars now and have nothing but good to say about them. Great for my climate(rain), and adequately sporty.

I got a pair of 255/40 R18 Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ tires for the rear and put them to the test today on a drive with our local ZSCCA club. They were noticeably squeaky for about the first 100 miles before that subsided. Through some spirited mountain driving with lots of twisties and even some rain, they held great and provided a comfortable enough ride. So far, so good.

I ordered them from Tire Rack. Seemed like a good deal as opposed to Discount Tire, as Tire Rack included the road hazard warranty at no extra cost. That would have been extra with Discount Tire.

I just got those tyres for the front of my E63. Very quiet and a great ride. I've been a sheep and got Michelin PS4S on the M Roadster. But they are terrific.

I got them from Tire Rack and had a local tire place mount them.
