could 2009 -2011 Z4 seats be retrofitted into and E85 or E86 Z4?

as the title states saw some real nice pair for a resonable price and wondered if they would work, just would have to figure out if the wireing could swap for the air bag and stuff.

I parked next to a dark blue new Z4 35is and it had the white ivory seats in it. Sexy as hell.

No, not without moidfications. The E89 Z4 seat mounts is narrower than the E85/86.

I fitted the BMW Performance seats in mine and had to modify a bit

I prefer the sports seats of the previous Z4 against the sports seats of the newer one. Even the exterior design of the previous Z4 has a more striking design except the front than the newer one.

And those BMW Performance seats are excellent by the way. I've had an offer to buy them for $3,000 U.S. but I didn't.
