Turner Motorsport Street/Track Front Fixed Camber Plates
Took a little bit of a gamble and bought a set of these for my summer/hpde car
https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2...t-m3-turner-mo Even though it doesn't list Z4 non-M for fitment I can confirm it does fit, and has the desired effect. Just got it back from the alignment shop at -2.5 degrees camber in the front up from -1.5ish on the stock hardware with the alignment pin removed. Judging by the slots in the tower, could definitely have gotten more negative camber. Nothing mindblowing here, but hope it helps other E85/86 non-M folks. As this is not a dedicated race car I wanted more negative camber while retaining the stock rubber mounts... this was perfect for my use case. Last edited by Spec-Al; 06-27-2023 at 06:36 AM.. |

Thanks for taking the gamble. These are a great option for people that want more camber but don't want to mess with adjustable camber plates.

-2.5 camber 0 toe rear -1.7 camber 0 toe Car sees a lot of hpde and it works well for that. Slightly lowered on Bilstein pss9, so ymmv if your ride height is different. |

Getting ready to install the Turner fixed plates, once installed are you still able to adjust the camber or are you stuck with whatever comes out of putting them on. Was speaking to someone and I think they are misinformed, said that the plates being fixed will be locked into whatever it ends up being. Example: if one side is -1.6 and other side is -2.0 there is no way to adjust to even them out . Not sure they are correct. Thoughts ?

Is there an equivalent for the M cars that work? I'm looking at camber plate options for my Z4M. I really don't see myself doing much adjusting, I've got H&R coilovers and will simply be doing some spirited mountain driving, no track days.

Ive been researching this a bit as well for my M coupe. Going back through past posts i think i found for Z4M we can just use the Turner Bolts/Washers to get 2.5 degrees up front. Let me know if im mistaken?

Can someone tell me what amount of degree adjustment there is between having the struts all the way in on the tower slots vs all the way out in the slots ?
Had my alignment done after installing the Fixed Camber plates. Camber is now -3.3. Shop claims can't adjust to decrease the amount by any significant amount. Trying to find a way to get to anywhere from -2.0 to -2.5 deg of camber . Currently the struts are all the way in towards the engine. Hate to have to remove the fixed camber plates. TIA. Answer to my question is I was able to get 2.2 neg camber up front after moving them all the way outward in the slots.
Just an FYI, The shop that did a crap job was Bimmerworks in Chester Springs, PA. Stay away from this place. The forum had good things to say about the place however my experience is far from stellar. Owner told the mechanic not to even try to move the struts out since it had the fixed plates on them. Other issues as well with over charging for work. |
