I'll also have to add that $950 for a lip is crazy but for the norm similar to ACS $$..

These prices are HIGH. I was quoted 750 a couple of months ago for the Hammon front lip. ....and I wouldn't go for it even at that price. It's just a lip for god's sake.

Remember the post from jpass 12?; he had a Magnaflow muffler installed and the parts and labor for the whole job were less than $200. That makes sense.

I understand the snob appeal but some of this stuff is just so over the top ya gotta laugh.:l augh:

European parts are always high due to the exchange rate and shipping costs to the US. On the other hand they generally have much better quality and fitment than some parts especially the replicas.

Yes, I'd agree on the quality and fit issue but.......sometimes you wonder just how much quality is needed. Is it a muffler or a masterpiece? I'd never dispute someone's choice to buy the really expensive stuff if it's really worth it to them.

I agree. I have seen some nice stuff out there from other companies, but there is a lot of "marginal" parts also. You really have to do your homework to find great quality parts at lower prices. I get a lot of guys calling me asking " I bought this part on ebay and it doesn't fit, can you make it fit!"

The only mod I am thinking of is either the new E92 M3 or sticking a supercharger in the E86 M.
