Vanne!
Wowie - do you have any data on the octane rating of the crappy fuel? Or, is the octane ok but it is the contaminants in the fuel that screw things up? It must be low octane otherwise you could install high-performing fuel filters to sort out the solids.

well its the same as what you guys get over there. Ron .95 x98 = 93. so thats the ocatne rating.. which, unless your running low compression pistons (i am not) , will be an issue with 9 psi boost. Running Meth will up the octane rating to around 112 or 108 at the least, depending on the mixture. As an added bonus , it will also clean your intake and TB's/Valves/ etc.. so pretty much a win-win.. I guess the old engineers from WW2 knew a bit about engines.

There is a lot of stuff/muck in the fuel too though, and maybe yours is pre-filtered a bit better.

As any good sommelier would recommend, perhaps a high-octane, high-performing Cabernet will clean up the internals, provide additional power and when you push the "DRINK" button on your steering wheel, you'll receive the same!

I spent most of my day off today refitting the oil coolers properly, as Initial placement had it rubbing the heat exchanger. Had to remove it any ways as it had a leak. (Go figure, brand new)

Other side. ...

Bonus ABS pump picture with custom braided lines.

And then things started looking up, my uprights arrived.. sadly though upon closer inspection, they need to go back and fixed, as they are slightly off.

New DSSR went in today.

Why did you have to switch to braided lines on the ABS pump?

Good question...

As ive gone for a complete brake system from Wilwood, which included the removal of the brake booster, resiviours , and master cylinder, the Wilwood system is Imperial (que starwars music) and ofcourse the Bimmer stuff is all Metric. This wouldent have been an issue, however i need to keep the ABS unit, so had to make some custom lines from the new wilwood bias valve (allows me to change the brake bias front to back on the fly from within the drivers seat) to the ABS pump, which is what your looking at there... did they need to be braided? ofcourse not, i could have had them plumbed in solid lines, but for me this is much much easier. And yeah dont even start asking me about bubble and non bubble flares... lol..

Hope that made sense...

meanwhile... meth kit turned up, and drive shaft is back from the balancing shop. New DSSR is installed as are the new rear Toe adjusters.

Hopefully get some logs for Josh today...

Greetings right back at ya from Dubai
The inserts that were cut out with water PSX machine, were offset by about 3mm’s from each other.. they couldn’t even figure out if they bolted them together than it would /have/ to be the same on each upright..

Well done Vanne!
What color have you chosen for the body??

It seems that the rim colors will compliment most any body color, for sure.

Haven't selleded on a color for the body yet... Will probably stay multi colored for the initial 2 shake down runs.
