Thx Matt, sadly no pics atm mate, just hope it turns out great, Randy from Epic was absolutely great, updated my tune for free. A few other bits and pieces going on the car, can you believe I finally picked up the power pulley belt finally from ECS.. ordered over 5 months ago...

Quick and dirty update...

Nose off. GC race sway being re-painted in Red to match the body work.


Genious masterminds doing their magic fabrication and production skillz..


Spot the difference?


Furnishing supports and keeping it semi OEM looking. Intake Port fully open on this side to promote free flow. Looking for a 5 to 8 degree C drop to oil temp..

And the other side, due to much limited space, two 1.25 inch hoses, pressurised by the duct force air into the bottom extension of the CSL snorkel. Finally some added pressurised cold air..
I wish I'd taken a few more photos of this as these guys were doing a really awesome job.. this should also drop the intake temp by at least 5 degrees, possibly more, and the cold air from outside will facilitate ambient air into the snorkel too. Faster flow from below.
The hoses won't protrude into the intake, but will be flush to the surface. The top was choosen due to the max pressurising differential at the top..

12.5 here mate, high lift needs new springs/retainers and possibly high compression pistons.. if i was gonna do that, id be investing in a stroker.

actually, high compression pistons are completely UNNECESSARY by going to a higher lift cam set.

But yes, you do have to use new springs/retainers.
And there IS the possibility that there might not be enough valve relief on the piston dome. Possibly.

What about your tune after the headers/cam install?
I'm really interested in that.

Looking mint Vanne, this page is full of solid updates. Your use of the two side ducts is good, has me considering oil cooler in the future.
