Perillo Chicago Z4M Vehicle Records

Hi,

I am looking for a helpful hand in obtaining my service records from Perillo in Chicago.

I was able to obtain what's attached below.

I am looking specifically for those documents I received each time I went into for service or maintenance work.

My guy no longer works there and it's has been impossible to ask anyone else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm the second owner.

I need the invoices where I serviced the car from the very beginning for 3,5 years.

They say they switch systems and lost all documents in the transfer.

They were only able to provide me with the Vehicle History as provided below.

I would love to have them for my records.

I am just wondering if anyone had any information or way of obtaining them?

I asked one service advisor. And he was only able to get me the "Vehicle Inquiry". I would even like to pay for it and just have the invoices for posterity.

Yes, it's an M Coupe Sapphire black with Ext Leather

Not sure how long they keep invoices or how those differ from service records. Let me ask a friend if he has any contacts in Service there.

Does your car have a Sepang interior w/ wood trim? If so, I dont suppose you have the window sticker for the wrong car, do you?

It's Black Extended with CarbonLeather trim.

I don't suppose it's the wrong sticker - the VIN matches

They are funny about releasing service info from previous owners. I don't understand it though. When I bought my car in 09, I was the third owner. I was lucky in that the dealer I went to was able to get the previous service info but I have read many times that this was denied by the dealer when asked (as seems to be the case with you). I think it just varies from dealer to dealer. I would suggest you try another BMW dealer. Since you are in a large city there must be more than one BMW dealership.

When I bought my car the previous owner wasn't able to get printouts of the BMW service records but he was able to get the Service Advisor to bring it up on the computer screen and then the previous owner took pictures of it. Pictures were pretty poor but you could still make out the details. Served the purpose.

What about a Carfax report? May not be as complete but they usually show when the cars been serviced

I emailed them again and got a negative response again.

Again, I would try another dealership and see if they can help. You may get a SA who is more sympathetic to your cause. They certainly CAN print it out if they want to.

Being there in person talking directly to them is far more likely to work than more e-mails.

The dealership won't give you the actual records because they have information about the previous owner on them. If you go there in person or call, they should be able to tell you what was done on the car and when. You can then write everything down and organize as you see fit.
