First to post!

Write up:
Interior Box wrap - pretty good
Box itself - pretty bad
But NO DAMAGE!

Regarding piece:
Flawless. Carbon is just perfect. No marks or bad weaves on the whole piece. Quality work

Fit:
Pretty good, needs a little.
On the back side, the piece is perfect. Meaning if you are looking at it from the rear, its great. Mine has slight gaps when looking at it front the sides of the car. The gaps are at the transitions from the end to the middle. Meaning that both ends and the top middle part are flush. I can get it to settle down with a little force, but I'm nervous to apply much more. Also, will the tape hold down this force? OP please jump on this and let me know how you did yours

Pics are as follows. Disclaimer: You may view these pics as long as you dont comment on the dirtiness of my cars.

Wow! That's insanely fast shipping...

Did you mount with tapes yet or you just test fitting with it sitting freely on the trunk? When I apply the tape, which has a little thickness to it and it worked out fine. All tape mounted body parts will have gaps naturally. Don't be afraid to apply steady pressure and it needs pressure to work the best. (Just don't bang on it). It's not necessary but if you're so incline to, you can also apply black silicone all around to further enhance the mount. Just make sure you wipe it clean before it drys up.

A little tip. Make sure you measure 3 times on both sides and center the spoiler. Put masking tape down on the trunk to mark the ends and the center. After you apply the tape onto the cleaned back side of the spoiler, let it sit for a few hours before peeling the other side off to mount. These tapes are very stretchy and form fitting. If you do it wrong or need adjustment after the tape hit the trunk metal, you'll just have to buy new tape and do it again, nothing will be damaged at all.

Some mounting tips HERE

Hope this helps.

p.s. so yes, I've asked them to include 3 metres of 3M mounting tape in the package so you don't have to run to the stores. Surprise!

p.p.s love that "lambo" V10 you have there.

I just set it on top. I probably wont do anything until spring. I have a Mini Cooper S R56 as well under the knife in the garage. As soon as its done, the Z4M goes in. Thanks for the advice on the mounting. I'm sure that it will smooth out.

I did receive the 3M tape. Forgot to mention. Thanks for that!

Appreciate the love on the S8. Not too many know what it is... but you'll hear it coming. Milltek setup. Turns heads because they hear that engine but see a big sedan.

Opened the box and it was well preserved in the packaging. Didn't post any pics as it was the same as techieleven's pics. It is a very nice piece. Well done Jordan. I can't post a pic of it on my tiag roadie as I have the OEM aero wing already on my car. I'll have to wait until next Spring before it gets mounted as the car is tucked away for the winter. So, in the meantime I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of you guys that can get this lip mounted. Looking forward to the upcoming pics!

Hey guys,

I'm glad you find the product as high quality as I think they are. I have also asked the manufacturer to lower the value of the product to help minimize tax/duty if any. Since export is heavily regulated in China, they can't declare as zero value when they're shipping out many of the same products.

I hope everyone will get their before X'mas and the manufacturer is very professional to work with so far. I should know something tomorrow regarding the next batch of shipment.

Get these mounted and take pictures. Those sunny states people.

SHIPPING & RE-DELIVERY

Your EMS tracking number works on your local postal service website. (USPS for most) If you're not available and need re-delivery arrangements, please check your local postal service phone number and call with the EMS priority express tracking number you received, you can arrange for re-delivery/pickup/hold options.

Since some might have left for the holidays already, hope this little information helps on the delivery of this spoiler.

Once we have more people who have these in hand and mounted, I will start a picture thread for all Skyer CF spoiler shots.

thank you guys again.

Sorry for the crappy video and the mess. In the middle of a rear end poly bushing overhaul.

My observations and opinions.

Packaging was sufficient with zero damage to the lip spoiler.
Overall the lip spoiler is good. Couple of gaps as you can see from the video but should settle down once installed. I might suggest cold climate guys wait for warmer weather to install and maybe set the spoiler on the trunk without any tape and let the sun do its thing. Possibly the spoiler may "relax" a bit and self form.

My particular spoiler is a bit "dry" on the horizontal edge of the trunk side, meaning a bit low on clear coat but all in all a good piece.

ok piece looks awesome as everyone has confirmed but..... imo those gaps are putting me off... in your video... they look significant to the point where I'm seeing the blue tape holding it to the trunk, if i cant get this to look abit better i wont leave the spoiler on the car and using silicone on a silver car/any car is just a no imo.... it almost looks like the profile isn't right in those area's. The fit from the front edge just looks off, back side seems perfect!

those with darker colours this isn't really an issue.... but the lighter cars ( mines TI silver which is near enough whitish in some lights with really highlight said gaps.

Beedub,
The spoiler is sitting loose. No tape. I also will not use sealer to minimize gaps.

As I mentioned, Northern guys meaning Canada and Northern U.S. and likely Europe also might want to wait until spring to install and see if the spoiler will relax a bit in the Sun. I have done some research and CF will move to some degree with heat. Not direct heat of course.

ok.... either way.... the gaps are significant.... the video suprised me alittle... mine arrives monday so will report back...

i need to see someone who has actually fitted up the unit but theirs only so much double sided tape can do..... on fitting it, how am i going to apply pressure on those front edges?? i taping over the unit onto the boot lid isn't going to apply pressure where i want it.

piece looks GREAT otherwise!

FWIW, pieces like this will never be 'Perfect' however it's very easy to hide those gaps with a little black silicone after its taped in place.
Black works best because it blends to the black carbon.

I had to do it with the Teckarbon piece on my coupe and it looked great.

Once in place with the 3m tape, use some masking tape on the boot lid beside the lip, AND on the lip itself.
This way the silicone will almost entirely be under the lip.
After applying the silicone (sparingly) smooth it .
I usually old school it with a little spit on my finger.

Sorry but I can't seem to find a pic from when I did this....
