Pulling the condenseor today, and the secondary waterpump (if i can get to it, otherwise that bit can wait till the throttle bodies and stuff come off.) andf doing some general cleanup and seeing if i can pull some final wirring. (and ofcourse checking if the car will still start) lol. def needs a vacuum and cleanup of the leftover Hvac pieces and 10 years of collected dust under the dash. There is also the little box in the trans tunnel that i need to find out if i need to keep that or not.

And then a bit more work on the car today...
Airbag sensor.... Chuck! Airbag brain.. chuck!! Wires ... Chuck!! Not much left now... That's the second time through the wires/loom. Nothing there now that doesn't need to be there. Aircon condenser... Chuck!! Thx for the heads up Micheal. Tell you what though, I was sweating a bit when I went to start the car after culling all those wires.... Spent a few hours yesterday finishing up the loom. Heat Shrinked all the ends that terminate to avoid the possibility of having any shorts. That took a while, removed a few more wires and removed the Seat plugs.
Today ill re-wrap the wire loom and zip tie it together. ( i wont fasten it down yet as the interior is going to be painted first.) Hopefully ill also get around to reworking the dash for going back in. Needs holes cut where the cage comes through and has already been cut longitudinally to remove the bottom 1/3rd (where the AC controls were) My mum (god bless her.. is coming over for christmas, and she is a sewing ledgend (used to be a sewing teacher in the industy) and shes going to help me do the dash.. Love my mum!!! she ROCKS!!

That is looking so amazing!
I took my lights apart as well, so I could install custom halos and demon eyes, it was not easy, but I'm a nutter about lighting so it was worth it to have modern looking RGB capable halos on both projector units inside the housing. Love the updates - tyvm! |

Pinky's rule!
And....the massive weight loss is high on the vehicle, thus positively affecting the COG, and with the incredible amount of unsprung weight loss....this alone will have such an incredibly great affect on handling. Have you even "gone there" in your head as to the difference in handling??

Did some work, that I've put off for a while as it sucks, but got stuck into it anyways. So the whole side combo set is now held on solidly by visibly only one bolt.. (there are 3 in actual fact, but only one visible) pretty darn chuffed with that.
Solid as a rock... Thing fits together like a freaking rubic cube

Hi Micheal,
2 fold really. the first one is that if you lift off (in a hurry) the throttle, primarily the brake booster gets pre-blown (for emergency stops,, no idea if other cars do this, but mine does, and its possible to code this out), but its a bit hectic when you have to modualte from one extreme to the other. There is a way around that and probably the better way, improve your driving (i cant drive for shit, and i am always learning) and dont lift off so fast. simple.. easily said, not easily done.. the second and much more importantly, is modulation and range. This one is 2 fold. with the brake booster applied, your range is say with in 2 cm , from zero to 100%, without the brake booster, that range stays at 2cm, but the pressure required dubbles. so you have a lot more variety for modulating the brakes that you want to use. the range becomes 50% larger. and as a bonus, its now dependable/expectable, regardless of throttle use. It does require more force to do the braking, but should become second nature very fast. The advantages far outweigh the dis-advantages. It DOES however require getting used to it. Jump in a un-assisted car and youll be like pressing for-ever, then jump into a normal car and youll feel like your pushing your face through the windscreen.
