Ian, great to see you making good use of all that garage space you have. You've planned it out well.

I'm sure this will be a well loved space by you and by your car.

Can't wait to see the final product.

You should put a drop down light & outlet from the ceiling above the hood for good measure Never know when you'll need it to see underneath the car.

I don't see one, is it in the other 2-car bay? You could connect it through the wall to a retractable air hose reel mounted in your 1-car bay above the tool chest.

Guys, I could be wrong but that doesn't look like his garage unless he changed the location of his door from his 1st picture in this thread. I think that's just an example of the floor tiles he plans to buy. Besides, isn't that an Audi on the back wall?

I definitely thought about a drop down, but decided that an outlet at each wheel would be suitable to plug in trouble lights etc.
I'll probably pick up an LED rechargeable at some point.
The other thing I considered with a drop down is that the cord gets dragged across the paint to get under the car.

I used to have the compressor in the corner by the electrical service.
It's just stored out of the way for now.
You must have been reading my mind about locating it in the other bay and running a couple of air outlets.

I'm also looking at something similar for my shop vac.

I was wondering about all the GG products. Oh well, it is a great looking garage, and that floor will look awesome.

Would love to see pictures of that space, hard to visualize.

I use a leaf blower to clean out my garage. With a concrete floor it's easy to just blow all the dust/dirt outside. Can you do that with RaceDeck tiles or will the grooves cause the dirt to fly out in unpredictable directions?

with the free flow the dirt falls through, so floor surface stays clean longer.
Cleanup is with a shop vac.

Thanks, you got me interested in the product but that quickly changed when I looked up the price. $3 per tile would cost nearly $2000 for my 2-car garage I might just go with 2 gallons of concrete floor paint for $60 and call it a day. This is going to turn out really nice. Looking forward to more pictures as the work progresses!
