2003 Sterling Gray/Blk 3.0 Roadster - 64k mi
This car is one of the best you will find. It was mechanically sound a year ago when I purchased, but had a lot of dings, dents, scratches, broken interior trim pieces, curbed up wheels. All have been repaired, and the wheels replaced with brand new BMW 296 19" wheels off a new Z4. The 19's are a huge visual upgrade. New Pirelli P Zero's as well. Spent 2 weeks at the paint shop removing all blemishes and re-clear coated. Added Parrot bluetooth so you can use your phone and stream music. Works fantastic. Specs on the car are: Convenience Package Sport Package Heated Front Seats Premium hi-fi Premium Package Steptronic Automatic Trans Xenon headlights BMW Assist with Bluetooth In-dash CD player Have had car serviced by SW Bimmers in Las Vegas. Have receipts and service history. Oil filter housing gasket replaced (had a small leak when I purchased), oil serviced, 4 wheel alignment. Have prior service history as well. I had windows programed for one-touch operation, and key to control the convertible top. Replaced: windshield cowl windshield gasket both cup holder mechanisms (broken) driver and passenger vents (vent mechanisms broken) all door handles and door pull trim (old and pitted) 3rd brake light (clear) Brand new key (have the old one too - buttons don't work) The headlights have been polished (no fog) Has small trunk lid spoiler Has wind block mesh between the seats (tiny hole in the mesh - full disclosure) Recently detailed and has a Permanon https://www.permanonfinishes.com/ protecting the car from the environment (great stuff!). The car has zero issues and really looks new. It is currently parked at a vacation house in San Diego on a battery charger, and i will post pics when I get down there next weekend. If you'd prefer to pick up in San Diego vs. Las Vegas, let me know and I'll meet you there. Please feel free to call or text with any questions. Brian 702-400-2818 |

Good question. I'm a total meticulous fanatical BMW owner (own 5 at the moment) and had to make sure everything looked and worked like new when I bought it. It spent about 2 months in LV in my garage as I went through the car cleaning, detailing, fixing, and making it perfect before I took it to San Diego.
I thought it'd be a great car to rip around with my wife when we are in San Diego. It is!!! Problem is I have 2 semi-adult kids who always want to join us when we go there, and they have boyfriends who love to tag along as well. So, despite everyone loving the car, giving it a nickname (Zeep), and fighting for the key anytime anyone has to go anywhere, the 2 seater has become a fairly sore subject. I finally broke down and bought a 7-seat Land Rover LR4. Big time 180 on the car and not nearly as fun, but at least we can get the crew to the beach in one vehicle. :/ |

A very close family friend owns a car detailing company. He's got 'a guy' that is his go-to for all body work. That same guy does a lot of work for local dealers. I went over the entire car with him. He first had his ding guy fix all of the bodywork. He buffed out any scratches that were fixable, and blended paint on the others. Shot a coat of clear coat over all repaired areas. It spent a good 3 weeks with him. As mentioned, I'm a perfectionist, and when I got it back I still wasn't happy and made him fix a couple other issues that didn't get handled correctly on the first visit. Last, there was a weird dent on trunk around the 3rd brake light that couldn't be repaired. I sourced a used undented trunk and had it shipped and swapped out for the bad one. Changed the lock and liner. No more dent.
