OEM BBS 197s (powdercoated)

Hey guys, it's been a minute since I've been on the forum. I purchased a set of OEM staggered 18" BBS 197s powdercoated matte black a few months ago from a forum member on E90post. I finally replaced my Miro Type 366s wheels (very nice set of rims with a Fat 4.5" lip) with these powder coated 197s.

These wheels may not be as blingy, but they're lighter, the ride quality is significantly better and I'm looking forward to better MPG.

Let me know what you think!

Sorry about the crappy Iphone pic.

Looks really nice! Mind putting up a pic of your car with the Miro setup for a comparison?

According to my research online, the Miros Type 366s are 34 lbs in the front and 36 lbs in the rear. The 197s are 24 lbs in the front and 26 in the rear.

I like both the rims. Looks awesome. I cant tell if your car is silver grey or space grey. Since its 03 I am guessing its silver grey. Can you please confirm?

+1.

Also blackout your headlights and tails. Smoke or Carbon would look real nice. Doesnt have to be completely black.

Thx for the compliments . No more heavy replica wheels for me...maybe down the road, I'll get a set of even lighter wheels.

Next, I'm tinting the windows 35% and considering blacking out the lights.

I went with the 20% on the rear of my coupe and like it. Trying to decide what to do with the sides. Tinting the rear quarter windows seems to just highlight the difference between the no tint fronts.
