How do I properly care for the soft top?

This is my first roadster so I have no clue as to soft top maintenance. Can anyone provide guidance?

Great looking roadster! I have used RaggTopp. It's ok, but seems to be wearing off pretty quick. Others have used 303 products and seem to like them. Use the search and you'll find a recent thread that discussed it in pretty good detail.

I've always cleaned my tops using the same sponge and bucket I use on the rest of the car. Make sure you let the top dry before putting it down for any period of time.

I've used Heavy Duty Scotch Guard and Starbrite before.

I figure the guys who design products for boats in saltwater environments probably get it right. Apply this stuff every 6-12 mos. There are probably ways to get more anal, but this worked for the ten years I had my Z3, and the top looked great up to the day I sold it. If you had a tan top you'd have to worry more about cleaning, but thankfully you don't.
