I see it's a rare 2007 and 2008 combo model year version too. Some rare car that dealer has.

I like how our cars don't have a heavy sun roof. The old M coupes do, I think.

wow, haha. That BMW dealership doesn't know a thing about the cars it is supposed to sell. Why am I not surprised?

Well I didn't like the sunroof option so I went with the T-tops...

I'd pay top dollar to convert my roof into a targa.

EXACTLY! Instead of replacing it with a CF roof like andysixspeed did, I'd replace it with a tinted glass top. It would look so ace! Look at how much air you get to see through!!!

Interesting photo but I think I'll keep mine the way it is.

In the search for mine I certainly saw a few incorrect descriptions of things like engine size, horsepower, auto transmission etc.

It would be really cool if you you get a piece of glass with electrostatic variable tinting. I suppose a really dark tint would work too.

A sunroof is a nice thing to have sometimes. Not on our coupes, though. They already need a bit of a diet.

The Z3 Moupe did have a moonroof, but it didn't slide open; it was tilt only. I suppose there is a little weight savings there w/o the motor.

Variable tint would be AMAZING, even if it was only dark and light. Would look even more ahead of its time than it already does.

There's a discussion on building a custom polycarbonate electrochromatic roof for our cars over here http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=476376 !
