Paint discoloration
I just noticed some weird paint issues mainly by the gas cap and passenger side door. Anyone else? Anything I can do about it? The car is an '07 titanium silver M coupe with a build date of 10/2006...

have you tried a clear coat safe cleaner wax or a clay bar to see if it is just on the surface?

Start with clay bar, then go to a polish if necessary.
If you aren't into this sort of thing yourself, a good detailer can fix it up for you.

I had this issue with a previous white car of my wife's. I think it's an accumulation of road/smog/dirt residues that are not removed when the car is washed. Notice you only see it on exterior surfaces that are not directly exposed to washing. After a while these residues discolor the paint. Claybar and a good layer of wax to seal worked for me.
