My airbox just arrived...overall quality is good, not oem but very solid for aftermarket. I'm still waiting on a tune from evolve, a csl dipstick and some other odds and ends before it can go in

Is the tuner logo removable? Are you going to get it dynoed?

What Jimbob said; that logo is ugly AF, I hope it’s removable. Also, a concern of mine was that the CF weave was going a different direction at the top on both sections of the airbox as shown on the ECS/Turner websites. This pic you posted matches the weave which is a GOOD thing

The logo is just a vinyl sticker...I started peeling it off immediately after the pictures.

The carbon matched up perfectly on the snorkel side.

I have planned to dyno the car before and after, I have to get with a friend of mine to see when his dyno is available. I'm mostly concerned with a baseline before doing cams though.

I don't expect much more power since my car is already running a full exhaust and eventuri intake. It's really going to shine when I do cams in a year or two.

That is perfect! Thanks for clarifying, but no thanks because you are making me spend money on this airbox unexpectedly 😂 just looking for someone to blame here lol. Let us know how that dyno turns out!

Question is whether to order from ECS or from Turner directly...

Lol wow that is one ugly sticker...

Box looks great though

Its a shame they plumbed the IAT sensor position in the OEM spot, that sucks dogs. Would have been nice if they had relocated it to the far side of the intake, as far away as possible from the heat soak.

I got everything to install the airbox before my buddy had a dyno opening so I went ahead got started installing the box.

I have run into two minor issues.

The stock crankcase vent hose doesn't reach so I'll be extending it with rubber hose which is my only hold up currently. The other option is buying a csl crankcase vent tube and removing the crankcase side connector to splice in the stock connector. This is normal but turner doesn't list anything as part of their kit so I assumed that the factory hose would work.

My other issue was the oil drain bung on the airbox had apparently come off in transport. I used a bit of jb weld to secure it.

Otherwise the install has been smooth sailing and fitment is spot on.

I'll get a few more pictures when I get finished up

Man, as much instal info as you could share would be very welcome.

I think this may be my first modification. I need that induction noise in my life.

Maybe he's talking about the IAT sensor bung?

Sorry I was referring to the crankcase vent hose on the bottom of the manifold that runs to the oil pan and has the one way valve that separates the oil.

In my opinion it is very high quality and the fit and finish is spot on. I have to wait till August to do my emissions first before I install it.

I finished up my install today. No real issues with installation. I bought the csl dip stick, but ended not using it and opted to rotate the factory dipstick back towards the firewall. I extended the vent tube using 5/8 heater hose.

it sounds amazing on the top end

That’s badass Dredman45! Any reason as to why you bought the CSL dipstick and decided not to use it after all? Also, would you be kind enough to list all the items you purchased? I’m waiting on my Turner airbox to be shipped out at the end of this month. I’d like to have all the items I need ready to install when I receive the box, thanks!

PS - any video clips of that thing?
