2006 z4 electric power steering problems

I just replaced my steering wheel positioning sensor. I still have my code and all the three lights on the dash, Yellow brake light, traction control and ABS. I can't get to code to go away. Do I need to reprogram the sensor? Also I turned my wheel all the way to the right and my power steering went out. It is going from bad to worse. Any help would be great here.

iirc, you need to reset the SAS. This is needed normally after an alignment/sas replacement. Otherwise the traction control/sc will not work and you get the trifecta of lights you noticed.

Do you have the BMW software tools (INPA/DIS/etc)? I think INPA can do it.

Take a look at this: https://obdtool-co-uk-review.blogspo...angle.html?m=1
