gas cap tether

Gas cap tether is broken on my Z4C. Anyone buy just the tether off eBay? Is it easy swap out?

Or you can use flexible super glue to put it back together and heat shrink over the repair to strengthen the repair. Heat shrink needs to be put on prior the gluing. I have done this and it is holding so far. Amazon tethers are easy as well.

How timely for me. Mine just broke, so I ordered one from the Amazon link.
Thanks for the info.

The tether that the above link sent me to is a perfect match for the one in my '08 Z4. Hopefully this one will also last 15 years.
Thanks again for the link.
