Herro from Aus
First z4, first bimmer, turned up today. Wifey and I wanted a second car. I told some people, "I am getting a Z4" and they were like, "that is so impractical" and I was all like, "impractical was my 2nd requirement right behind 'fun' and just before 'not buying a borrrriiinnnggg zzzzz souless SUV like you drive".
About to go flip through the book, any hints and tips? |

Skelekitty and Finnegan
Howdy to all the new faces and anyone still here from a decade ago. I'm still alive and kicking and I still have my same Imola Red Moupe (oh, and I've still got Finnegan, too). We haven't been tracking for a few years for various reasons including emotional attachment to the car(s), finances, time, some nonsense about a plague, etc. Finnegan is now on his third Z4M --sequential ownership; not concurrent-- and I'm kinda hoping he'll stop thinking he can live without his own. I won't hold my breath since he keeps making noise about selling his current one... I wonder what color he'll get next time.
I hope everyone is enjoying whatever "spring" weather they're getting and can get out on the roads a little bit.

PS - Maybe Finnegan's plan is to eventually own each color of the Z4MC?

[QUOTE=XMetal;30013808]Good to see you back and well! Haven't seen a post from you or Finn in a while and thought maybe both of you may have moved on from the Z4MC platform. I still have my Imola after 13 years with it and almost sold it a couple of months ago as I had similar thoughts as Finn in that regard. However, the deal fell through at the last minute. I may probably in regret now had the deal actually went through. Glad to see some of the long timers are still holding onto and enjoying/loving these cars
PS - Maybe Finnegan's plan is to eventually own each color of the Z4MC? I’m glad you didn’t sell! Finnegan has had three because he kept realizing how much he missed having it (and while he can drive mine, I won’t let him make whatever mods he wants). So far, he has had the Interlagos Blue, Sapphire Black, and now has the Alpine White. If he’s silly enough to sell the current one, I’m voting for Sepang next - that color is pretty awesome up close, even if it’s tough to photograph.

Still one of the most driver oriented cars ever. I’m always amazed at how much feedback this car provides compared to most everything else out there. Good to see some familiar names still posting and owning! |

Hello from Melbourne Australia Everyone!
Long term air cooled Porsche guy but have dreamt of a Z4MC forever and I finally got one. There are between 90 and 102 coupes in Oz and I found a 1 owner prior to me, August 2006 in Silver Grey with 80k KM with black full extended leather/carbon structure. In Australia, all M’s were delivered fully optioned with the exception of electrically folding mirrors. I’ve installed a ZHP knob, Eventuri intake, stubby aerial and have two sets of wheels - the original Style 224’s with Michelin PS4’s and Style 67 19’s. I have a 1M, an old 911 and a Peugeot 205 GTi Mi16 and have also owned various modern 911’s of similar vintage to the Z4MC and I’ve got to say, the Z4MC is probably the most exciting car I’ve ever owned. Thank you for this forum. Cheers, Sal |

Thank you WDB.
I consider myself very fortunate and lucky. Yes, the 911 has SC flares. It’s a fabulous car but the Z4MC is my current love even though I drive them all regularly. 🌞🙏🏽 |

When you come in on saturdays. Do all of these come with sport suspension? My 2004 window sticker doesnt say anything about that.
