Hello guys
Anyone know what's the difference between bi xenon black reflector light and silver one? different wiring, connectors or something else? I thinking to buy one with black reflector Instead of silver one I have now.

Not aware of any OEM light ever being offered with black inner housing. Perhaps that one was modified or is aftermarket?

Stole this from the other forums lol, but this was my understanding of it.

Pre-facelift, orange indicators, black inners - Halogen
Pre-facelift, orange indicators, black inners - Xenon
Pre-facelift, orange indicators, silver inners - Halogen
Pre-facelift, orange indicators, silver inners - Xenon

Post-facelift, white indicators, black inners - Halogen
Post-facelift, white indicators, black inners - BiXenon
Post-facelift, white indicators, silver inners - Halogen
Post-facelift, white indicators, silver inners - BiXenon

Black inners for the smaller engined cars, silver for the 3.0/3.2

Edit: Not sure of any differences in wiring though so can't help there - sorry.

If they BiXenon so they should have same wiring.

They're aftermarket, so all bets are off.
Make sure they're truly Xenon, and not "Xenon Ready" or "Xenon Compatible".

I have a 2006 3.0i with OEM Black headlights.
BI-xenon. The lens inside is a dummy with only 1 angel eye. The outer lens (bi-xenon) does not have a halo ring

Black comes in OEM 3.0i's 2006.

3.0si's and M's come with silver headlights.

(I gave mine a M facelift)

As abelgonzaleZ4 said above, BMW did throw in black housing Bi-Xenons in the facelift non M Z4. I looked into this before I ordered the Umnitza headlights simply because I too wanted the black housings.
