Haha. So true. The roof adds a lot. Can't wait to see what the final product looks like and looking forward to driving up to pick up the first available one!

I do love a convoy. Expecially an M coupe convoy. Though I think the closest I've ever been to that is the last time I saw you.
Wait! Almost forgot the time I met up with the original owner of my 3.0si who now owns an M coupe.

It's a sin for this thread to get too low so I'm giving it a new years bump.

Just came across a pic of the roof of the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring Superleggera for the first time today. Drool. Can't wait for the Z4 coupe version.

That Alfa Romeo roof looks awesome. Ferrari FF also has a similar roof. The quality of the carbon roof produced by Twisted has me *patiently* waiting for the moonroof. It's quality is amazing.

The Moonroof is still under going some R&D to finalize a prototype for further testing. Its been difficult to design and test a performance seal that could be used by both the CF and Moon versions, but I'm close now. The OEM seal gap is not a constant thickness from front to back and requires special methods and materials. Keeping its price point down is a struggle. |

Best of luck to you and your son. Family first.
I'm also in for a roof when they become available. No rush, just putting my name in. Thanks in advance for what looks like an amazing product. |

I feel for you and your family twisted. There's definitely hope. My mother is 5 years in remission from Non Hodgkins. It was a tough journey but she got through it. However, she later developed cardiac myopathy because of the treatment. This is common and can occur 5-10 years + after treatment. Still, she is alive!
Good luck and be positive. PS. I think I'm first on your list for the moonroof. |

Just for the record: from the CF roof thread post #386, 5/30/13: "Very tempting but I'm holding out for the moonroof." Not as official as David's proof, though, perhaps. Also see post #282 and 283 here. Hehe. Ok, I'm done. Will be worth it no matter how long it takes to get to the top of the list. :-)

LOL. Just messing around. I wouldn't start a war over something like this. I REALLY want the moonroof but it will be worth the wait whenever I get my hands on one.
