Ah interesting. Well the RAM ones are cheap enough, so I will probably just spring for those. Thanks for the rec though!

None hah. I did it for the Z community, with no strings attached
It would've been incredibly nice though if they gave me a set of whatever I wanted

Cool, I really like the idea of using the CD slot as a base. However, I actually use the CD player quite often, and that holder seems like it might have some limitations. Nonetheless, thanks for the input! I've already ordered the RAM products. Can't wait to get them in and try out some recordings

So I finally got around to testing out the RAM mount and cradle. Here's a quick mashup from the first 30 minutes of testing or so, compiled only the more interesting footage and deleted as of the noisy footage as possible. Gotta find a way to quiet down the wind noise. Perhaps put a sock around the microphone?

Don't have a fb account, any way you can upload vids elsewhere or pictures of the setup and perhaps a screenshot from the vid?

Pic of your hardware perhaps? Just curious with the mount you settled on.

Oops, missed this thread, sorry!

I pretty much do have the suction cup to window, whether front or back window.
However, I've been so lazy to deal with the recording and what not...
I usually just forgo it these days
