You have a donor vehicle and the Z4? If you have the tools and ability to DIY it might not caused that much in today's market as they're not worth as much as they used to be.

The interesting thing is, this car was apparently never build by tuner Manhart...
So quite the error from Top gear who didn't do their homework https://www.zroadster.com/forum/thre...2#post-2460206 This car is the "Hornisse" which at some point was apparently labeled with manhart stickers/bodyart, supposedly when it was with a later owner in switzerland..... Why and who did that is not clear but its strange to say the least, that a tuner (quite a famous one....) claims a build from another person..... There are quite a few reports on the german z forum that it suffers from reliability issues. There's also a guy in the UK that did a s85 swap. The electrical part of the swap is supposedly the most difficult. Integrating the s85 ecu in the rest of the z4 (which is 1 or 2 generations older)

Taken from their website: Function capable S85 engine package for self installation. The engine electronics package has the following properties: Motor control fully OBD, EOBD diagnostic capability DSC disabled Secondary air system disabled Adapted configuration diagnostic ECU network on autonomous use Disabled engine diagnostic probes and function Configuration manual Oil pump fully functional for lateral acceleration Sport button is disabled (can be installed and configured to customer requirements) With this engine package you can take any S85 engine in operation, regardless of where it is installed. Based on the series software, we have developed software that allows the engine no longer has to rely on the complete electrical system. The jumps in all conditions and runs like a train engine. Pictures and a few videos of the "hornisse" have been floating around for years, always thought it was a cool build.
The challenge is not mounting/fitting the engine in the car, but making it play nice with all the other electronics while maintaining some semblance of OEM feel/functionality. I plan to do the S85 swap and widebody on my car one day, since I'll be keeping it forever.

Definitely cool, but the electronics seems way above even my head. I could never do a swap that involves even more electronic complexity. Seen this car in previous videos, looks like it's just swapping hands and getting cosmetic makeovers now.
