Abner's 3.0SI Roadster

Hi guys I just want to share some pics of my Z.

Here's some pics when bought the car
Freshly Painted using the same black sapphire metallic oem color code
Black kidney grills (not plastidipped)
Debadged
Painted bumper reflectors
Full LED conversion

Then went to BigSocalEuro in San Diego last year and I did a full interior detail looking for that show room look

Bought that missing badge from ESCTunig

I also painted the brake calipers Bronze and did a detail

Here's a pic at a local meeting in El Centro CA.

A friend of mine did a photoshoot

I attended to the local drag

Here's a video testing my app not synchronized at all
Raced against a friend with a 350z with semislicks and I won

Here's another view
(Sorry cellphone)

Here's some pics at a local event with the crew
Got that Broadway mirror

Welcome!

Your car looks great and it nice to see so many photos. Keep em coming! Two questions. Which badge was missing? What type of caliper paint did you use - spray or brush on?

Thanks, I used Rust-Oleum Metallic Bronze spray paint. I used to use Hi temp paints but any issues with this.

The front bumper badge was missing when bought the car.

Beautiful car... my coupe is same color but interior is tan... always wished it was red instead.

Question, looks like you can see light through the lower grill, is your engine splash guard misisng?

Yes, never put it back since I'm installing the front splitter.

Hi. Would you care to share any info regarding the outline around the taillight? Your car looks awesome but I had not seen a taillight highlighted like that before. Or is it just a reflection from the lighting ? It looks great!

After lot of work I designed and made my own custom Aero kit, both sideskirts and front wind splitter, I made them with light weight aluminum wrapped with CF wrap.

First I used paperboard to design and make them exactly as I wanted

Side skirts

Front splitter
I replace the lower engine cover with just one piece

I used some CNC custom brackets to hold the spliter to the chassis so I can track it

And here's the final product

Some pictures last weekend At BigSsocalEuro Gathering in SanDiego

And the rolling shot

I just need the APR tensioning rods to finish

Very nice car. Hard to beat the looks of a perfectly detailed black car! I'm not sure I love the splitter and sides; maybe if they didn't stick out quite as far and were just a little more subtle. But that is a small personal opinion and styles vary. I am very impressed that you had the skills to make them! Nice job.

Thanks. I think is because the car is pretty stock. But I made them exactly as I wanted, They are pretty simple and very fuctional I can tell, I got some ideas from APR splitters and some aero kits, I'm thinking of making the rear diffuser too.
Maybe when I get bigger wheels and tires It would look proper.
