Definitely taken in all the comments and suggestions. We will be posting the final design for last round of votes.

Thanks guys!

I've been saying this forever. Anyways I hope that gets into account I really like the Z06 design as it's made on the Vette. Hope we can do something very close.

We are finalizing some minor details of the side skirt extension. Should be able to post for casual voting very soon. This side skirt extension will have design cues to tie-in with the up coming diffuser. Really excited about that project as well.

We are taking this into account as we design. The kink will be a couple of inches behind the M logo on the door sill as the center of the kink to avoid stepping on the extension.

We like the Z06 vette design as well; however, the Vette has a concave side skirt body line. It is easier to design if all you have to do is to draw a line to fill that space. Our Z4 has a convex body line. We have space in the front and at the rear if one just simply draw a straight line, the middle bow outboard quite a bit. Couple with avoiding the extension to be stepped on, it is a tough line to design without going too overboard.

I'll post an update some time this week. Stay tuned.

If I upset you, I didn't mean to. I just wanted to find out if a small tweak could be made to make it look as close as possible to the Z06.

The other thing you have to deal with is the two different sideskirts and that doesn't make it easier.

Anyways I think you are doing a great job and a testament to that is the amount of interest the Skyer spoilers are generating.

Cheers

A carbon fiber diffuser, after a trunk spoiler and side skirts?? My God, I'm going to be left in the streets

What about a front lip? I'm thinking about going with Schieddman again but I may be willing to wait if that's a possible future project.

Who's upset? .... Not at all bud. You understand the challenge and I hope you'll like the final product.

Ross, I know you been wanting a front lip for a while... and I didn't get a front bumper from you to put on my car..... Yes, it's coming.

Update!

We change the general shape a little to incorporate the kink better. This extension will not be a flat piece CF sheet. It will be about 3/4" to 1" thick of CF to give it a 3D look. By taking the suggestions and other considerations, the kink is now not going to interfere with stepping in/out and is only 1.5" outboard from the bottom of the side skirt and positioned where a driver/passenger will step in/out of the car.

Z06 V1CF or Z06 V2 Orange
comments welcome as usual...

I like the V1 more but honestly both look good wouldn't mind either one. Just hoping it goes in production soon and we do a group buy.

So most likes the V1 shape and we're going to finalize this design fairly soon. Let us know what you'd like to be produced and we try to take all suggestions into account.

Cheers!

That V1 looks insanely good O_O

It will look even better coupled with my Skyer CF spoiler and CF wrapped Mstache

Any ballpark on when these could actually ship out?

All the test fit parts will be shipped out to the manufacturer next week so we are looking at 6-8 weeks for them to ship out. Group Buy should start in a few weeks for these side skirts. Many other projects will start rolling out as well.
