Z4 M Roadster- What to pay?
Hi all,
First-time poster and am hoping to get a bit of advice. I currently have an '06 Z4 3.0i which I love, but the lease is due to expire in a couple of months and I want to step up to the M. I'm considering two options: 1. (more likely) buy a used '06 or '07 with 10k - 20k miles, or 2. lease an '08. I drive under 10k miles per year, so mileage isn't an issue. My question(s) is this: if I buy a used M, perhaps 15 or 20k miles with the standard set of options, what would be a fair price to expect to pay? The few dealers that have them (I live in northeast Ohio) list them around 41 or 42k, which appears close to the blue book retail value. Likewise, I know the standard lease for an '08M is around $579, but what might be a reasonably number to shoot for in terms of lowering that? Any information is appreciated, and many thanks for your help. Kurt |

I've been looking extensively at used M Coupes, and the average I've found is around $38k from private individuals, $40-42k for CPO's or just used ones from dealerships. These are all '07s. I can't imagine the roadster would vary much from those numbers.

You should be able to get less than KBB value for them. They are rare, but they're also not in very high demand.

Great- hoping to catch up with the group some time. Won't be able to make the event in Pittsburgh this weekend, unfortunately, but that is because I'll be out of town checking out an M Roadster....
