My Z4

I bought this 2003 Z4 a few months ago. It is my first BMW and has 70K miles. I just had it serviced new fluids, brakes and it is a great little car.

He runs like a top...I'm really enjoying it. I was an air cooled Porsche driver prior to the switch to BMW.

That's interesting. I know they are totally different cars but do you have a preference?

Interesting. I've always wanted a classic car, not an air-cooled 911 that's way out of my budget. But a 70s Alfa would make me happy. Congrats on the new car!

Nice lawn! Urghh.... so envious.

And yeah nice car too. How's the 2.5i? How does it compared to the 3.0?

We both have the same wheels. Love that red.

I had a 2003 Porsche 911 and from my experience the Z4 is the better car. More roomy inside, less complicated convertible top, better engine and better road manners.

Anyone know if the 2.5 has a limited slip rear end, or is it an open diff?

There is a lot of value in getting the 2.5, especially since people don't get this car to daily...typically. It's a car to drop the top, and have some fun. Manual Transmission and LSD would be all I need. Congrats on the new car!

Non M did not get an LSD.
Several aftermarket suppliers LSD however.

All M Z4’s came with factory LSD
