It's here.
The one I've been searching for, all the way from Montreal to California.
Still just under 23K miles. Now wearing ARC-8s with Pilot Sport 4S rubber, Strömung exhaust, all fluids changed and otherwise cleaned up. Still have work to do but at least it's home! |

Cool, congrats! Are those wheels 18"? I'm asking because I have the same set (in 18") which are currently painted white. As I'm growing a bit tired of the very white wheels (although I'm going back and forward on that) I was thinking of getting them redone in a similar color as the ones you have. But I had a hard time imagining what it would look like. If those are 18" then it does make them look a little bit smaller.
PS: anyone would know what that exact color is called? |

Awesome! Ce sont de grandes nouvelles! Don't be surprised if the car tends to steer towards sports bars that serve poutine and have the Canadiens game playing on the big screen!

BSM appreciation post.
Black Sapphire Metallic is one of those colors that looks amazing for about 5 minutes after you wash and wax it, then it all goes downhill fast. But I'm really starting to appreciate it nonetheless.
I've been rehabilitating the paint on this E86M and took it out for a drive this weekend. Gotta say, I've started to really notice just how great this color is, even in the sun. I mean, check out how the light comes down and hits the curves of the car... That little bit of sparkle? Awesome when the condition is tip-top. Easy to take pictures in low light with high contrast and glossy surfaces (see the first post in this thread). But when BSM is all shined up just right, man... it sets the car off perfectly. I won't feel the same way when it starts showcasing every little speck of dust, every fingerprint smudge on the door, etc. But for now, at this very moment? Damn, BSM just looks the business. |
