///M on H&R coils

Been researching on geometry settings in general, and have found conflicting info so I'm thoroughly confused. Most have more camber in the rear while a few have less. Some say that neutral toe front and rear is ideal, others go with more toe in at the rear.

For those of you on H&R coilovers, what settings are you running? Would help to also indicate whether it's set up for track or street.

Mine is street driven, and the geometry is therefore set up to maximise tire longevity.

The main intention here really is to compare the settings that you guys run on.

Mine is lowered on H&R's and when the alignment was done it was very close to factory setup. Drives amazing, mine is only street driven.

Slightly off-topic but how harsh of a ride is an M Coupe on H&R coils? I had a Z4MR on H&R coils several years back and remembered it to quite stiff.

My Z is on full Ohlins stage II custom coilovers, front camber increased to -1.9' , rear decreased camber from -2.6->-1.7 ... but it ended up being a bit loose on long fast sweepers, about -2.0 to -2.1' rear camber should be the sweet spot I guess.

I actually find the H&R coilovers less harsh than the stock suspensions... curious as to why it would be any different on a roadster.

I'll have to check the part # for H&R coils to see if the one for roadster is different than the one for the coupe. But again to my surprise, having picked up my new Z4MC yesterday ('07, 53k miles), the stock suspension is quite firm.

Congrats on the new Z4MC!

I put my deposit on a 52K mile Interlagos '07 Z4MC today. I am looking to replace shocks but not springs and add an adjustable sway bar kit.

I won't have it for about 4 weeks as I am in Hawaii. So that gives me lots of time for goodies.

Keep me posted on what you go with.
