For about a year my steering has always pulled to the left and no one seems to be able to fix it. I've had tire companies do alignments and say there is nothing wrong with the alignment. BMW shops say everything looks straight. I've also had the tires swapped left to right. I've had to drive with constant pressure on the wheel. Not very enjoyable.
About a week ago I left the house and the car seemed to be correcting itself. It started moving to the center. I could actually drive with no hands on the wheel without it pulling to the left. Later in the day, I could actually feel the steering start move to the right. By the end of the day, the original issue was back except it was pulling to the right. This doesn't sound like an alignment thing to me. More like something with the electronic steering. One thing to note is, after 12 months of this I do not have any tire wear consistent with an alignment issue. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to fix it? |

Not sure if this could be the culprit, but I had no idea the steering angle sensor might need to be adjusted/replaced..
https://5series.net/forums/diy-do-yo...ry-fix-149887/ It goes with you mentioning how it slowly corrected itself to the right. |
