The best interior combo. Guido is a hater when he's right, wrong, and opinionated.

I love the dark wood trims. I have a darker midnight wood trim on my X5 and love it more than my CF trim in my M3.

This is sick!

I see just fine. Your claim that the original was p-shopped was bogus. The difference is the lighting, not somebody doctoring the photo. Clearly.

I'm with you on the wood, it gives a warmth to it and looks prestigious.

Makes for a nice photo, but irl it would look different. (the black leather (steering wheel etc) isn't black either)

Fake wood is.....meh....
Wood also doesn't fit the new edge interior styling imho.

The woodstyling is mahagoni I think? (SA 4m7).
I can't tell what the leather code/color is due to the photoshopping...
So this is what you think black should look like in every lighting condition?

but the z4m steering wheel is a thing of beauty, easily one of bmws best designs.
Id prefer that wood with white leather, or that brown leather with silver trim. Those would be my perfect combos.

however, i agree with you on the steering wheel. I have the msport version and every time i grip it i think its the best thing in that car.

No, what I ment was that there is such a purple haze over the picture that the brown(sepang) leader looks more like amarone. Still: even amarone is not thàt purple in daylight.
I've pasted a piece of an amarone interior in the original picture so you can see that even that is more brownish than how purple the sepang turned out in the picture of the TS

I thought that was because of photoshopping, but apparently lighting conditions can exist so that a camera can take a picture with that color spectrum displayed in it. I was wrong about that.
But apparently I'm the only one here to see that that picture is really purple
So I still think:

I may have to say that I too see a purple-ish leather than a brown-ish.

IMO aluminum trim would make it perfect. Or even Piano Black would be great.

But it's still nice.

Looks great! I am biased as I have the same interior on my coupe. I orignially wanted light sepang with the wood trim but ended up with dark sepang. So glad I ended up with the dark as i believe it gives it a classier look with the wood. The aluminum trim looks cheap to me and the carbon fiber is a sportier look. Just my opinion.
