BMW Plant Dingolfing 2022 You tube
This video scared me- cold, clinical robotic assembly of the latest i7 and iX electric vehicles as well an M440i ICE car. I love the Z4M Coupe for all its analog craziness- although not perfect the driving experience is special. These present and future products are weirdly styled and cannot provide the same union of man and machine no matter how fast they are. Also battery production, copper and lithium use, huge 22" tires, where will it end?

Say what you will about modern BMW design choices, but robotic assembly is nothing new. In fact the Z4 "How It's Made" video shows an already high level of automation incorporated.
