Replaced wheel bearing, tire still has play

Long time lurker, first post...

My 2006 Z4 3.0si has play in both front wheels after an extensive refresh. I had a ECS 'Level 2' suspension refresh kit installed along with new Bilstein B4 shocks and new wheel bearings. When I had the alignment done the tech found that there is still play in the front wheels. While I didn't go with the best quality of wheel bearings possible. I did the wheel bearing install and verified that they were properly torqued, 290 Newton meters (220 ft/lbs) I don't think there should still be play. The wheels are 18" BMW, but I'm not sure they are original to the car. I'm the 4th owner and don't know what they came with. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the mounting bolts holding the king pin to the strut?

I have not, unfortunately I won't be able to get to check on them until next weekend. I also need to check to see if an eccentric bolt in the rear was properly installed, LR aligned perfectly, RR is just out of spec.

I think the image you show is for an M version. Don't believe he has one. The regular Z4 front suspension is a bit different.

Thanks for clarifying M vs 3.0si, When I looked at Real OEM diagram it didn't look the same.
