WTB - Springs, Struts, Coilovers - e86 (coupe)
Hi Guys, I just picked up a 2008 Z4 3.0SI Coupe and it is in desperate need of new springs. Looking for stock (w/M sport suspension option) or aftermarket. Will also consider coilovers/struts if anybody is trying to offload theirs.

If I were in your shoes, I'd go with the bilstein b12 kit. It's affordable brand new, high-quality, plug and play. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...t-z4-46-181275 You'll want new front and rear shock mounts and rear spring pads (upper and lower). Might as well get new sway bar links while you're in there.
Update: If you're in desperate need of springs from wear, I'd suspect the bushings could use a refresh too. |

Previous owner did the DIY lowering option where you heat the springs. They have only been like this for 3-4 weeks. I'll take a look at them once im underneath the car. |

Ah I missed that it was for E89. The E85/E86 ones are harder to find. I'll update this if I find something.

This looks promising. When I type in the make and model the following message comes up under fitment "for coupe models without self leveling suspension". Not sure if my Z has that option. It is automatic with the sport button and M sport suspension option. Last 7 of VIN: LG19748 |

awesome. that kit should work. There's no self-leveling suspension. All the non-M suspension components are plug and play with each other. The sports package springs are stiffer, shorter, the shock damping is probably different, but the aftermarket stuff is the same across the board.
I wouldn't be surprised if after you place your order, they reach out that they're out of stock. This just happened to me with a set of M floor mats. They were out of stock mostly everywhere, except apparently not on Bimmerworld. I ordered and they emailed me that they're out of stock but they're getting fresh ones in from Germany in a couple weeks. |
