My 2011 Korean GP experience
Here's a slide show of everything I took! Should be in order, but if not I apologize.
Here's a few teaser pics for the lazies! P1 is this way! Pic from the bridge going over the looooong straight Track view from my seats Sure was windy! The way it should be (IMO) McLaren out front (even though he's second) Safety car coming out! Looks like a Williams overtaking Virgin Mercedes followed by a couple red cars... Pit stops...Force India being Forced off! Looks like McLaren beating RBR out? Lining it up just right... Near the end, Senna locking it up for the second time...lol *blurry* Senna locking it up again. In the blur you can see the smoke Rosberg was nice enough to run out of gas right in front of me! Back of the Mercedes if anyone cares... It was a LONG hike to get around to the podium...too late

Great shots !
But, it looks from your pictures (as well as the TV coverage) that there were maybe a total of about 1,000 fans in the stands. I've seen bigger crowds waiting to renew their license. Ticket prices too high ? |

IDK what was up really. IDK if it was too cold for some people, but out of the 3 grandstands in my area, only 1 (the middle, with the view straight down the pits/straight) was packed full. Even then, there were T O N S of people leaving maybe halfway through. I looked down and there were mobs of people leaving. Ticket prices were reasonable I guess. IDK what's expensive/cheap in comparison.
