I usually check prices on car-parts.com didn't see anything much cheaper

If there was a way to get the weight of the doors so that T6 can estimated a weight savings in
lbs you might get better buy in.

Eg if you were saving say... 100 lbs ..... It might grab more peoples interest.

I am still in and very excited!,but the cf doors got me thinking about the airbag and side impact protection from cf. is there any plans on just a cf replacement of the inner panel? because if not this is only a track mod correct?

Diego, our door panel airbags are in between the door panels and the door itself. They can operate as usual.
But all non OEM parts are advertized as " for off-road use only" to avoid issues.

air bag function will work just fine. Every function is the same except its function with gravity will be different :-)

Once again a good question raised !

I've been informed yes, but have not verified yet. We have self adjusting windows when closing and I'm pretty sure both share glass profiles too!

Anyone have more details ?

I know the window itself is different. I kept jabbing myself in the ribs whenever I opened the door of the coupe.

people get real everything is the same.....maybe and here is a big maybe. the glass MIGHT be different......maybe. I seriously doubt it. Either way the doors themselves are identical....and thats whats on the table here in fact they should be the same part number.

Either way the focus is all about the doors. :-)

If we ever get as far as making race glass in acrylic that will be verified for certain. For now it's a moot point really. The door shell, door jambs and profile are identicle.
