I'm down for the group chat. Great to hear that you have a CF guy. So now the biggest hurdle is getting an accurate scan of the coupe. I've hit a dead end with the websites offering 3D models of the car as they are just models made from dimensions and picture. Clearly not appropriate for designing production parts off of.

If anyone here can get a scan of the back end of the coupe I'll commit to doing the design and modeling!

I already have a coworker willing to digitally surface the spoiler and help with the styling details. I'm trying to get access to our vehicle scanner at work but it's not meant for personal use not to mention I'd have the remove my Tekarbon spoiler to get a clean scan of the deck lid.

Currently have our artist working on the viper style spoiler design, cleaning it up and getting it ready to be milled in foam. Fingers crossed that I'll have a completed version out of foam by this weekend.

It'd be hard to improve on this design in green on Pg 3. IMO the shallow angle in particular complements the tail best, even more so than that on the M4.

Saw the 3D model that milamookie designed in the CAD program and being able to turn the image every which way made me realize just how great of a design it is. flows so well and looks aggressive enough to be noticeable. Hopefully have a sample to mock up on my car out of foam this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Any chance you can record a short video on your cell while viewing the 3D model and post it to get everyone's feed back?

Glad you like it. That CAD is really rough so it will only get better. Still need a way to scan the car in order to finalize the model and get to a manufacturer.

We need a scan of the rear end of the car!......Anyone have access to a scanner? I've committed to doing the CAD for the design but I'm stuck without a scan. My car has a spoiler already installed so scanning my car would require me to remove that and I'm not prepared to do that.
