Custom Z4 M interior trim

I really like the leather instead of the Silver. I was going to do mine in grey suede, similar to the look of the new Aston interior.

question: How do you get the trim pieces out? what holds them in? How long did it take you to remove?

Sorry guys this was not a DIY I do not have the skill to do a project like this. The only thing I do know is you have to remove the AC vents to start the removal. The AC vents have 4 small black covers over the screws in each corner. Once you pull out the AC vent and cup holder you will see the dash piece is snapped into the dash. Removal around the stereo im not sure I was not at the shop the day he did it he just told me the hardest part was figuring out the AC vent removal and the rest was cake.

The guy that did the work said he would be more then happy to do them for anyone who sends him the trim pieces and that he could do any color leather with any stitch.

Not the original poster, but since it's a two year old thread: I'm looking into doing something like this if I can't find a carbon leather trim. There is one company that came up in my searches: http://www.american-stitches.com/ Not related in any way, just sharing info.
