Out of the 4 bulbs I tested white one was the brightest. It won’t match true LED rings but for $30 shipped I can’t complain.

Here’s a link to white: Ruiandsion 2pcs BA9S LED Bulbs

If you want the blue one I can dig that up too.

Thanks for the link. It would be interesting to see how long these last. I never had any luck with LED bulbs

That’s why for the ones I did replace, I stick with the big name manufacturers (e.g. Philips, Osram, etc.) and the DRL was only off brand. Osram actually makes a BA9S led but it was really dim so those came right out.

Annual full detail. Not looking too bad for an 11-yr old car. I love it when people who have no idea what it is ask me if it's a new car.

Finally finished my exhaust modification that consists of OE exhaust removal and straight pipes with new exhaust tips.

And the verdict is.......... it sounds terrible with too much drone at low and mid-range revs. The pops and burbles are definitely cool but the drone through most of the rev range is dreadful.

Back to the drawing board.

Needed new tires for the drive to Oktoberfest in Greenville next week so I got a set and then calamity ensued at Firestone with installation.

Apparently, my car was too low for the four different lifts they use, which only took three hours to tell me that.

Tried a few other places but it was Sunday so most were closed. Found a mobile tire installation service and I must say it was pretty cool.

Just made an appointment online and paid, selected a time and then waited.

Received a confirmation call an hour before the appointed time. He showed up ten minutes early and got busy.

He literally has everything for mounting and balancing in the van. He even had little air jacks!! Very impressive.

Are you running stock headers? And what exactly did you remove... secondaries, x-pipe resonator, muffler...?

Running stock headers and one cat, so far. Thinking I could just put the OEM exhaust back on for my trip to Oktoberfest and try to figure it out after I return.

The exhaust shop says they have multiple solutions but I really want to keep the pops and burbles which sound so cool.

By one cat, u mean one of the 2 secondaries or both secondaries are out and the one you’re counting is primary? And mufflers are obviously gone but what about the X pipe resonator?

One of the secondary cats are gone and we put in a new resonator when I started these exhaust shenanigans.

FINALLY got my lazy self to run a hardwire kit from fuse box through center trim and up (and exiting) the center console to power my GoPro. Timing couldn’t be better seeing how the track season is pretty much done lol.

I found a manual, M-Sport seat from an E46 at a local salvage place. I wanted one because I didn't like the lack of any side bolstering on my stock seats. That said I was worried about it potentially sitting higher. I can confirm that what I read was true, the manual E46 seat is the same at the lowest setting of an E85 power seat. I do really wish it was lower. Otherwise I'm very happy with it. It bolted right up, plugged in, no airbag light, and the seat heaters still work. The only issue was the seat belt mount. The stock seat has a mount on the frame rails. So I just bolted the seat belt in the same spot on the new seat, it's just not at the same exact angle. That said, I can't imagine that could make any difference given the tiny amount it's off would be way less than the difference between a smaller person and a bigger person.

Just swapped in DKF 100 cell cats, noticeable improvement in acceleration. Exhaust sounds different too, slightly louder but you actually hear more of the gases flowing through.

Pretty cool! How much extra did it cost to have them come out? I have a 4 vehicle fleet that I'm constantly putting tires on and would be nice to not sit at a tire store for once.
