They have been very responsive to the issue though...
They shipped me the wrong:
- camber plates
- rear upper spring perches (twice)
- front struts (I wanted the sport version and they shipped me the street version)
- right front strut DOA, which they replaced promptly

I remember being very frustrated by the initial mix-ups, but like I said once everything was sorted out, the kit's been fine. Literally every single person that I know personally that has purchased from GC has had wrong parts shipped to them. Customer service was decent and communication was good; but it would've saved GC a lot of money and saved the customers a lot of hassles if they just had someone semi-competent double-check each order prior to shipments.

In your case, you'd probably feel like just keeping the GC plates since they've already shipped you the parts and you're gonna lose out on the shipping costs no matter what. But if you haven't installed them, if I were you I'd just get the Vorshlag plates.

Reviving an old thread and wondering if GC has fixed their noisy issue... Wondering if the noises are from the solid shock mounts and if perhaps GC Street (rubber) shock mounts would fix the noise issues?

I can't get over the price difference $1800 GC vs. $3000 KW but if I'm going to spend the hours under the damn car to put the suspension in, I'm going to be really pissed if I get the wrong parts or the kit squeaks...

both me and my friend went with clubsports in the end...... GC was just too difficult to get hold of or to contact, with us being in uk we need solid support. in all my contact with them i can never say they've filled me with confidence, shame as they offer some great products....

personally if anyone in the UK was to ask for my opinion , id say steer well clear.

my club-sport setup has proven itself, silent, works perfectly and fit like oem, its very harsh however, more harsh the the 400lb linear spring would have you think, unsure if that due to that beefed up valving or partly down to my semi slicks or combination of the 2 but i wouldn't want to DD them....
GL on your choice anyway.

FYI after nearly 2 years they still look brand new as well despite some very hard use.

No issues here...

Why not just get Vorshlag plates with GC coilovers?

Why? Vorshlags look to be solid, and i think the GC kits come with plates now. http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=774/CA=279

fortune auto 500's ran me about $1400 bucks. they come with top camber plates. the spring rates are customizeable (i went with 10k front and 12k rear), and you can also upgrade to Swift springs at customizeable rates. I also got the spherical bearing top mount upgrade to deal with any spring binding noises, and the e36 m3 super low front lower mounting brackets. they warranty their suspension for 5 years, and they are located and assembled in the US, so turnaround time is very quick. customer service has always been helpful.

I ran into a few snags during the initial setup (not their fault), but now that everything's dialed in, i couldn't be happier. the ride is firm but comfortable, the car is low, and I'm a happy customer.

I have to say that this is the best bang for the buck.
