Thanks,
Don't know anything about that area, but here are some tips.

Clear bra's are difficult to get right. This is the first thing I did to my MC, and I'm glad I did some research first. Best advice is to find the guy who does the local Ferrari/Lambo dealerships. These guys have to do a good job because the owners will not put up with crap jobs. That's where I went. Here in Vegas the Ferrari dealer is in the Wynn hotel, and it costs $25.00 to walk in. I asked who did the clear bras and they gave me the guy's number. It ended up costing $900.00, but it has a lifetime guarantee against peeling and yellowing. The guy did a very good job. Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try the ferrari dealership here in Dallas. $900 is that a full hood and bumper?

Thanks again,

Mine was $900 for full bumper, front 1/3 hood/quarters and both mirrors. I went with Ventureshield. Good advice from Mthoery.

Not full hood-and don't let them sell you because you don't need it. This price was for front part of hood, entire plastic front bumper cover, headlights, rear view mirrors, and the flare out behind each door in front of the rear wheels.

Another area you should consider covering is the fender down low right behind the rear wheel.

Ok thanks again MTHEORY. They are pricing me 950 for a full wrap not full hood just 18 inches. Xpert installer http://www.rufautocentre.com/. I wanted to get a full hood you think its not worth it?

Thanks,

The truth about clear bras is that after you have them on your car, they are a pain. Don't get me wrong, they do the job, but when it comes to cleaning the car, the clear bras take extra care. For example, my installer told me. No soap, no wax. So when I wash the car I have to exclude the clear bra and then just use plain water on it, Afterwards, I have to wax (spray) around it. Then I have Plexxus plastic spray to clean the clear bra. It really is a pain, and the more clear material you have, the bigger the pain. I don't think a full hood is worth it. First 18 inches is OK. (Also, the clear bra, no matter what salesmen will tell you, takes away from the pure sheen of the paint. A full hood would look dull compared to the rest of the car.

I am currently on biz travel in Germany (back Saturday) I'll get you his name and number.. I think he did my whole front not just 18" for 800 all by hand no kit.
