This is a valid concern that I need to clarify. You do not need the rods. They are recommended for track use; however, if you follow my installation instructions this piece will not come off unless the whole bumper comes off. I have tested the splitter without the support rods for 1200 miles and @ speeds exceeding 150mph. Keep in mind there are three mounting locations between the fangs not including the splitter support rods. The rods are for added rigidity but are not there to keep the splitter attached to the car.

I will make sure this is wrapped up by the two week mark stated in the listing. I am also going to work on getting the production started before that date for those who are ready to pay can get their splitter right away. I imagine this will require 15 of us to be ready to pay, but I will confirm this with Tony tomorrow. I will keep you posted and work with APR to maintain the schedule

I had asked about pricing for 20+ and $272 was as low as they were willing to go. I will ask again just for good measure and let you know.

I don't have any great shots but this will give you an idea. If you look close you can see the three supports between the fangs. I will post more detailed clear shotis in the DIY.
