Should chime in for people considering these. I've had them since last summer and they're have worked great. I have the swift upgrades and radial bearings. If you're going to be fairly low, the radial bearings are a must, otherwise they can be noisy and annoying. If you're considering these for the street, pull the trigger. They are a great choice at this price point.

How do they compare to H&R coils in terms of stiffness, handling, and height adjustment?

They are fully custom so stiffness is up to you, they are way more adjustable than h and r, and handling depends on how you set them up(spring rates, dampering setting, alignment)

Redman pretty much covered bases here but want to add they go lower than H&Rs.

Think these would stand up to several track days a year?

I'm sure they'd make it, but personally I would go with something beefier like clubsports or ast's.

These Fortunes really interest me. For a street application with 2-3 track days a year - with the goal of dialing out understeer - does 550/550 make sense to you (thinly crappy L.A. area roads)? Perhaps even 500/500. I'm not seeing 500/600 as perhaps ideal for what I want. FWIW I have H&R coil overs in my C63 and find them a little too soft, but great for a comfortable street ride.

Most people stagger front and rear spring rates on rwd cars, the softer front helps with front end grip and the stiffer rear helps rotate the rear. Either way you go it will feel stiffer than the h&r's because they use linear springs not progressive

Daily driven here. I have had mine on for about 8 months now and love em. Such a comfortable ride and not noisy at all. I got the swift spring upgrade and radial bearings. I also went 9 and 11. My car is dumped and I have no problems. I would highly recommend them.

Thanks. My door sticker say 30F/32R tire pressure. I started there but over time I settled on 33F/30.5R. I like that MUCH better than the factory recommendation. I know that it's more complex than simply saying I just added 50# or 100# to the front spring rate but if I'm fine-tuning spring rates then it's figuring out the appropriate baseline starting point and whether my preference in tire pressures as stated above translates into an adjustment of spring rates for said baseline calibration, if that makes sense.

the 500's are a street coilover that can see occasional track time. however, FA has multiple setups for different driving needs.

the 5th gen versions of the 500's can be upgraded to a dual canister setup for those who are a bit more track heavy.

unlike most other companies, these guys have a pretty solid website. i suggest reading it if you're interested.

Have some one got the 500 for a Roadster with costume springs? When I ask Fortune witch set up I should go for they told me the stock one is the best choice? Should I just go for the stock or get customize springs? Roaster Daily car, few track days 4-6 times during summer months.

I did a bit of research on what people run before I ordered mine, if recommend the same, and not their rates

The staggering spring rate is because the rear springs sit further away from the center of the wheel, or closer to the fulcrum/pivot point of the suspension thus requiring stiffer rear spring to produce the same wheel rate for front AND rear.

Equalizing the front and rear spring rate would actually result in more pronounced understeer IMO.

Did any of you guys upgrade your rear camber arms and end links with the fortune coil overs? I know some of you went pretty low and are running more aggressive setups. Feedback would be nice. Getting ready to order mine! Thanks!
