They look like they would go better on a Mercedes.

The flame surfacing of the metal is futuristic and the wheel style dates back to 30's, so it doesn't aesthetically mesh.

The way around that is to try a similar style but with more visible spokes.

In other words a style that is reminiscent of an early E30 style racing wheel.
