Does BBS CH fit on Z4M?

There is local opportunity to buy some black BBS CH 19" 8.5 and 9.5 back for 1000 euros. I think the price is logical and the wheels are on very good condition.
Will those wheels fit my Z4M? Because the BBS website show that the Z4M is only compatible with 19" the CH-R model and not the CH.

Through the search of the forum I found this post:
http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...ghlight=CH+BBS

so I guess it can fit. But he mentions that he has trouble to find the right tires.

How should I know before I buy those wheels what tires can fit on them?

Thank you.

Not enough information.
You also need the wheel offsets.

Tires are not a problem

The offset of those wheels as I read from the BBS website is:
8,5x19 offset 35
9,5x19 offset 40

and the bolt circle is 5/120 as far as I know.

If those sizes are as you've indicated, then there's no issue up front. You would want around a 25 offset in the rear, which means you will need to add a 15mm spacer to the rear if you want to make these wheels work on the car

Yes, the CHs do fit our cars. I had a set on my prior Z4M Roadster. However as XMetal has noted, the ones you're talking of specifically won't work without a spacer. If you can find a set used on E46 M3, those will work as well.

Guys thank you for your answers. Is there a way that you know which wheel needs spacers or no? I mean there is an algorithm or something based on the standards?

Have you read through that sticky "Z4 M Definitive Wheel Spec Thread"? It has all the information that you will need on selecting a correct wheel. I definitely learned a lot from that thread while selecting my wheels. Happy reading

To be honest I have read it some of it but the excel is not working. Hope to find time and read it all of it.

Nicky do you use spacers on your CH-R's?

If you read Nicky's thread on his CH-Rs, he has 19x8.5 et32 and 19x10.5 et25, which are the proper offsets - so no spacers needed. Only thing with the 10.5" setup for the rear is that it will stretch the tire a bit (275 tire is on the narrow end when mounted to a 10.5" wheel)

Nope, just the usual hubcentric rings.

Hi, yes they fit. Just bought my Z4M and it had them on.

First I was a bit of like, aren't they juvenile and show off "look at my wheels" but they grew on me and actually really like them now

Here's a pic (taken from a vid still so not great quality). And I must say, pics don't do them justice, don't know why but in real life they are way cooler than the pics show. Especially the front wheels look a bit like a flat pie in the pic, but in real they look nicer.
