Sharing my Z4

So this is my 2005 BMW Z4

After 9 yrs, I've decided to facelift my car. It's still a work in progress.
Let me know what you guys think.

Is this the final fitment of the bumper? The gap between cowling and bumper looks horrible in the pics! But I like the look of the front , try to fix those gaps!!

I like the design but the gaps look pretty bad.

That front bumper has to go. Fitment (or lack there of) looks like it's not even made for this car.

So this Bumper is actually made to fit e85. It's the 1M Bumper by Extreme Dimensions.
After inspecting it, the driver side headlights and the bumper has this gap which is noticeable. The passenger side looks okay. I had it fit as close as possible but it seems like the molding or whatever they used to have this sized up for z4 is pretty unsatisfactory (for my standards), I'm gonna try to work this out somehow, refit it or something.

As far as the hood goes, it's that GT-R hood. I guess it's not too bad, but I have to get this both parts to work together to make it look like my original Z4.

I'll have to sit this one back and re-assess my options.

Have you tried to bolt the top bumper screws in tighter? When you open up the hood there should be a line of bolts you can loosen up and push the bumper closer in towards the car and then fasten the nuts back in. That might help.

The hood looks like it doesn't go with the rest of the car.
Can you change it back to the OEM hood?

Other than that, bumper looks cool.

Remember*** less is more...don't add junk to the car if it's already a nice design.

The front valance is ok because it is in the BMW "family" of design and doesn't appear to be too "foreign" to the Z4 aesthetic.

But the hood should be removed and immediately placed in the trash.

The vents appear as an afterthought and badly throws off the shark-like appearance of the hood.

Remember, classic roadster styling is long hood and short rest deck with the driver placed in the middle and low to the ground.

If you want to "add" to your Z4 choose some parts that work with the car aesthetically such as the hood.

Look at finding an E85 Z4 M hood because it will clean up the look of your car a lot, and most likely work more harmoniously with the replica E82 1M front valance.

Don't add aggressive looking parts if there is not a plan in mind or your car will literally look thrown together with a mishmash parts and there is zero aesthetic cohesiveness.

the z4 is such a good looking car and this does nothing for it, please revert it back to stock or use the aero / M parts, so much better looking.....
