Photos of the Z4MC at Pacific Raceway
Posting a few photos of the Z4MC at the recent Porsche Club track day at Pacific Raceway.
I went off at turn 8 and ruined the R888s probably from some debris in the infield. I now have a set of Hoosier R6s on the track rims but it looks like tomorrow's track day is going to be a wet one. I plan on using the RE11 street tires since the R6s and rain is not a good idea, plus the R6s are rubbing against the front strut even with the existing a 3mm spacer. I will need to get a wider spacer and dial in some alot more camber before the next non-rainy track day. (Photography by Adam Hosey) http://adamhoseyphoto.com/

Great pictures! Sounds like you had fun with the exception of the tire issue, but I'm sure that can be over looked and is somewhat expected when it comes to motor sport.

Man your coupe is beautiful! I think it is my favorite M coupe on here. I really like the color and your choice of mods. Kinda funny, since our cars are similar; The M coupe just looks mean in black. If I by another one in the future, I will go SB or AW next time.

Thx for the compliments, the car is a blast to drive at the track.
@crfine88: Thanks for leading the way with the splitter & wing We were discussing useful vs not so useful mods today and these definitely fall into the useful and functional category. I'd say my air scoop is probably at the opposite end of the spectrum, but that's just my opinion. @roffle: Body roll looks ok looking at the pics even with the stock sway bars. The front tires are rubbing the top of the wheel well lining and I would like to reduce that if possible. @riddler: Yes I was out there today. It didn't rain as predicted which was nice. The RE11s held up nicely but definitely not as good as proper R comps.

What a minor miracle; no rain at today's BMW Club HPDS.
I took the black winged machine out for a few laps and have to say the light-weight fly wheel impressed me the most. Instantaneous power on demand. The car is wickedly fast and very stable at any speed.
